Delivery timing

Orders are prepared from readily available stock; they are sent within 3-7 working days after the payment being received in full into Mama Afrika’s account. In some situations Swiss Post may take up to 3 days if shipping over a weekend domestically. International shipments require 7-10 business days to arrive. This is an estimate and does not include weekends or public holidays.

Tracking

Once an order has been placed and payment received in full, we will post your item(s). As soon as your order has been shipped you will receive a confirmation email outlining your order and a link to your tracking information. Tracking is available for all goods shipped domestically with either Standard or Swiss Post. Tracking is available for goods shipped internationally with Registered International Mail, however it is not available for Standard Airmail. We recommend you purchase Registered International Mail if ordering from overseas so you can track your order.

Returns

We want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase from Mama Afrika. For online purchases we offer refunds or exchanges on all items that have not been worn, washed or altered.

All items must be returned within 14 days. Please indicate via email the reason of your return and if you would prefer a store credit, exchange or refund to your credit card.

Your account will be credited within 5 days of receipt, less any shipping costs incurred. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us. If goods are not available for exchange, you will be reimbursed. All transactions will be refunded in the original payment method.

Please note: shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges. In the case that an item was faulty or damaged, the customer will be reimbursed for return shipping charges.

Please note that we do not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods.
